Peter Funch-Jensen

Prof. Dr. MD.

Peter is a general surgery specialist and a professor in gastrointestinal surgery at Aarhus University. He holds a position as a board member and the chairman of various national and international scientific societies.

Also, he has a vast experience in leadership, innovation, and organisation: Former consultant at Hvidovre Hospital, Copenhagen and later chairman at Surgical Dept., Aarhus University Hospital.

Outside his work at aquilo, Peter is an active surgeon, performing more than 500 procedures per year, and developing and implementing fast track/enhanced recovery surgery across multiple hospitals in the EMEA region.
